Money Making Monday Tennis Betting Tips

After the end of an exciting week at The Paris 1000 Masters which culminated in World #1 Novak Djokovic beating his nemesis Daniil Medvedev in an entertaining three-setter, we take a look at some exciting betting options from ATP Stockholm and lower-profile Challenger events.

ATP Stockholm

Peter Gojowczyk vs Marcos Giron

World #84 Peter Gojowczyk will be hoping his run of four consecutive defeats comes to an end in Stockholm. Yet, he will take heart from the fact that he is one of the most prolific players on indoor hard courts winning a total of 192 matches on the surface.

His opponent, American Marcos Giron is in good form having reached the round of 16 at the Paris Masters last week, beating the likes of Frances Tiafoe and Diego Schwartzman before losing out to the in-form Casper Ruud.

In the head-to-head records, Gojowczyk leads 2-0 (1-0 on indoor hard courts). Whilst form and fitness is firmly on the American’s side, we cannot ignore the German’s record on indoor hard courts.

Elias Ymer vs Frances Tiafoe

The in-form American Frances Tiafoe will not mind taking on misfiring home favourite Elias Ymer in this opening round match up. The Swede has lacked consistency and will find it hard to battle the American’s well rounded overall game. We reckon that that Ymer will not be getting much joy in his first encounter with Tiafoe.

Challenger Events

Joao Sousa vs Altug Celikbilek

Joao Sousa’s recent performances on indoor hard courts makes him the favourite in his match up with Turkish talent Altug Celikbilek. Sousa leads the H2H 1-0 after he managed to beat Celikbilek in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 in their qualifying clash in Indian Wells, California recently.

Illya Marchenko vs Liam Broady

The Brit takes on the Ukrainian for the third time this year in their Bratislava 2 Challenger clash, hoping to make it a perfect three from three against Marchenko. Overall the H2H stands at 2-1 in Broady’s favour, but his win just last week makes him the firm favourite in our eyes.
